Heating Steps

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add bell pepper and onion, and fry at lower temperature for several minutes.
  2. Turn up the heat to medium and add Corn to your pan and fry for 10 minutes.Finally, add Kidney Beans and fry for 5 extra minutes.

Forming Your Patties

  1. Add bell pepper, corn, hot sauce, ketchup, kidney beans, onion and vinegar to your blender and pulsate until desired texture. If the mixture seems too dry, you can add a bit of water or liquid from the can of beans.
  2. Add some oats or an egg to into your patty dough to help make a consistency that is easy to shape.
  3. Mix your sunflower seeds into the patty before shaping them.

Finishing Touches

  1. Wet your hands so that the patties are easier to shape. Fry them in oil on high heat for a few minutes per side until they become golden brown.
  2. Add Sun-Dried Tomato on top.
